It was born from the realisation that it’s sister company Affinity Business Connections was built around Neil Muxlow’s reputation, contacts and him being able to speak to people when they had a requirement. When he is in a meeting or away from the office, how can people access his database of quality contacts he has built over the years?

As Affinity is working with several companies including Black Box, a global data comms company, we realised that even though there is so much relocation in Milton Keynes due to the expansion of the town and the enormous growth of commercial building going on, local companies rarely get to hear about it before it’s announced in the local press that a particular company has agreed or moved into a new premises. It’s too late then, the tendering process has been completed and so the opportunity has gone.

In light of rising costs of fuel etc, local business has to be the way forward for companies to survive. It also helps with their carbon footprint.

So Affinity has been working for over a year now on building contacts in the office relocation and refurbishment industry. Whilst that is the focus, it’s not exclusive as many of the suppliers offer services that all businesses can benefit from.

The Affinity Business Club is so much more than a web directory. There is the expert section, forums, special exclusive offers, information for local events, seminars and charity events.

Our forum will give our members the opportunity to interact, discuss all things to do with the club, members, services and how they can help each other.

Members are invited to write articles or share relevant information on our expert section.
